As I was recently obsessed with modelling toroids I created one for 3d printing. I tried to avoid using any additional supports to simplify post-production and ensured that there were no hanging areas. Unfortunately, it didn't work out because of the edge that was too sharp and wouldn't stick to the bed even with increased temperature. This time I filleted the edge. If it still doesn't work I will have to attach supports.
